This is no ordinary treasure hunt. Combining team work, cryptic clues and fascinating facts with a big screen, interactive quiz finale - this is Competitive Sightseeing!

This unique event will uncover the very best Chester has to offer, highlighting classic masterpieces and hidden gems, wrapped up in an exciting team based treasure hunt.

On the banks of the River Dee, this ancient walled city has centuries of history just waiting to be discovered. From the Roman Amphitheatre to the Norman castle, the magnificent cathedral and maze of Medieval ‘Rows’, no stone will be left unturned as you search for clues in every corner of the city.

As part of the experience, you’ll even take to the water for a leisurely cruise where you’ll need to keep your eyes open to spot the river-side clues. Along with a stop for a lunch and afternoon tea, there will be one or two historic pub breaks en route during which you will need to trade vital information with your rival teams.

Along with the game-packs, maps and clues, each team will also be provided with a digital camera for photo challenges. The more creative, the better!

At the end of the trail it’s back to base for the Showdown finale. Teams will step up to their own podium for this head to head big screen interactive quiz based on the treasure hunt clues.

Its fastest finger first and winner takes all. Who will be crowned the Live The City champions?
