The merry maids of Nottingham University’s HR department (plus just one merry man!) enjoy a morning of team building with Live The City.

Based on a recommendation from a colleague who had ‘Lived The City’ in Cambridge on a previous occasion, the event organiser asked us for a similar activity in Nottingham.

Using the historic Galleries of Justice as a base, the teams explored the famous and not-so famous corners of their historic home town. Despite some of the group of 40 having lived in the area for years, everyone discovered something new about this fascinating city.

Back in the spectacular surroundings of the Grand Jury Room, team photos were displayed on our giant score-board, followed by a very lively Showdown Quiz Finale! The competition was fierce and the ultimate champions were determined by a fastest finger first tie-breaker.

The event’s objective was to encourage members across a range of departments to work more closely and communicate more effectively. All agreed that the activity was a fun and effective way to achieve this.
