The hardy souls at Island Cruises prove that it takes more than a spot of rain to put a dampener on a Live The City event!

Dressed to the nines in rain macs and with brollies at the ready, the teams embarked on their Competitive Sightseeing event in not-so-sunny Brighton.

With clues to be found at the iconic landmarks of Brighton Pier and the Royal Pavillion and others tucked away in the city’s maze of Lanes and Twittens, no stone was left unturned.

The Showdown Finale was held in one of Brighton’s most historic pubs (thought to have been the one time home of Jack The Ripper!) where teams battled it out to be crowned the Showdown Champions.

The event was rounded off with well earned drinks and the traditional sea-side fare of delicious fish a chips.

Despite the rain, everyone agreed that this had been the best team-away day for a very long time.
